Built between 1907 and 1912 on plans by architect Georges Caen Pichereau on behalf of Henri de Rothschild, on the site of a farm he had bought in 1875 to Gustave Flaubert, the Ferme du Coteau. It is the archetype of the second generation of neo-normand.Elle style is called Strassburger as it has become, after being bought in 1924 to Henri de Rothschild, Deauville residence of Ralph Beaver Strassburger American billionaire. His son Peter was donated to the city of Deauville in 1980.
