Located on the watershed overlooking the Principality of Monaco, the city of Beausoleil is surrounded by the "Tête de Chien" and Mont Agel. Although located in French territory, the city forms with Monte-Carlo only one agglomeration, the town being bordering the Principality of Monaco.
The town is characterized by the charm of its passages, its squares and its small gardens in the heart of town, by its famous stairs that branch its territory and have earned it the name of "Petit Montmartre", by a remarkable Belle Epoque architectural heritage whose flagship is the Riviera Palace, with its facade listed in the inventory of Historical Monuments and its Winter Garden with the exceptional glass roof. All around, natural areas with rare Mediterranean trees spread generously above its neighborhoods.
