Location History
Church built to replace the one destroyed during the 2nd war. Its very particular architecture is the reflection of the thought of its designer, André Lurçat. Communist convinced and persuaded of the imminent end of religious practice in the world, he thought this place of worship almost neutral, easily converted into a theater. Hence a block shape, a trapezoidal Latin cross plan and abstract stained glass windows.
