The building is industrial in style as it used to be a glue factory (Rubson). On the pediment, in front of the public entrance door, there is also a large stainless steel A.
There are 3 types of spaces on 2000 m² spread over 2 levels (ground floor and first floor):
- Working areas (offices, sorting rooms for the archives)
- Archive storage areas (fixed and mobile shelving, map cabinets, etc.)
- Public reception areas (reading room, large hall/patio, meeting room with an outside balcony)
To be noted: - Large car park in front of the building, identified by a large wooden A installed at the edge of the roadway - Unloading lock apart from the entrance reserved for the public - On the 1st floor: large spaces under the ceiling (5 metres high) and presence of a kitchenette - At the back of the building, an unfinished space of 400 m² on each level. - Possibly accessible technical rooms as required (boiler room and air handling unit).

Location History
A former glue factory built in the 1960s, the site has been completely renovated to house the Seine-Eure Archives Centre since September 2018. This building, managed by the Seine-Eure Agglomeration Community's Archives Department, enables the conservation, consultation and development of the archives of numerous public and private entities in the Seine-Eure territory (municipalities, inter-municipalities, hospitals, private, associative, artistic and industrial collections). These collections represent nearly 4 linear kilometres of documents dating from the 14th century to the present day. The building also houses a heritage association which has an office and an archive room. Its members are generally present only on Mondays.
