Location History
The city of Nice bought the villa in 1925 to install its Museum of Fine Arts. The transformed villa, which then took the name of Palais des Arts, Musée Jules Chéret, was inaugurated in 1928.
The facades with Genoese mannerist architecture and the roofs of the building are listed as historical monuments by decree of 17 December 1976.
