Location History
This airfield, created in 1915 to meet wartime requirements, was used by airlines to launch the first flights to Brussels and London in 1919.
The site still bears witness to the demise of Nungesser and Coli, and the success of Lindbergh's flight over the North Atlantic in 1927.
The museum has a duty to promote the terminal, designed and built in 1937 by the architect Labro, and now protected as a historical monument.
