General presentation
Baroque in style and nestled in an old urban fabric, the palace has an opulent main facade emphasizing windows and balconies with white marble balusters.
Inside, an imposing vaulted vestibule at the edges, decorated with motifs in vigorous tones, participates in a beautiful visual effect. A monumental staircase closed by arcaded galleries and adorned with statues provides access to the first floor rooms used for temporary exhibitions.
On the second level, the so-called noble floor with its ceremonial apartments retains its original ceiling decorations, decorated with frescoes in the middle of the 17th century. The statues and the cave decoration of the salons were added in the 18th century.
