The Larzac railway has been opened in 1896, closed in 1954 then the French army took it back in expectation of the development of the Larzac military base which never happened. 17 km of track and several stations have been bought by the current owner to develop a spare-time sportive activity called "Vélo Rail" (Track Bike).
