Location History
This secondary school aims at educating young girls whose parents have been granted the Legion of Honor. Since the nineteenth century several waves of adjustements and extensions modify the buildings. Napoleon the third puts in place a restructuring program in the nineteenth century. In the sixties Barthe and Robin architects modify some rooms and add new buildings, including classrooms and the refectory. In the nineties the facade of the old boarding school changed. In 2010 the architect Benoït Lopez reorganized the dormitory on the ground floor of the old boarding school, and renamed it Colette. In 2012 the architect Sebastien Loiseau conceives a 1000 m2 extension of the buildings. Today the five phases of adjustements stand alongside : the neoclassicism of the 19th century, the sixties design, the austerity of the nineties and the modern structures of the twenties. From now on the House receives almost 500 secondary-school pupils.
