Jean Maizeret racecourse
The Henri Bonnel racecourse was renamed in tribute to Jean Maizeret, former president of the Haute-Normandie and Île-de-France racing federation, who helped to redevelop it. The grass track is 805 metres long, with a 145-metre straight and a width of 21 metres, including 3 metres for horse safety. New PVC fencing with integrated handrails has been installed to secure the space between spectators and the track.
Théo Cauville velodrome
The current velodrome, named in honour of Théo Cauville, was one of the first facilities of its kind in Normandy. Its 250-metre long and 6-metre wide ring meets the standards of the French Cycling Federation, allowing track training. A tarmac surface in the centre is dedicated to warming up, resting and storing equipment.
Track cycling has been present in Neubourg since the inauguration of the Marcel Guillot stadium track on 26 June 1950. Initially made of clay, the track was created by Théo Cauville and local volunteers. It was then tarmacked and cemented around 1965 to host professional competitions.
