Lac de Gaube 1725 m and 18.4 ha, at the foot of the Vignemale (3298 m) in the Cauterets valley, is famous for its location and ease of access. The left bank is bordered by the GR10 towards the Oulettes de Gaube refuge, while on the right bank you'll find the Lac de Gaube hostel where you can admire the lake and the north face of the Vignemale.
