Location History
The Fort of Conde is situated on a point raised near to the Chemin des Dames. The fort is built from 1877 till 1882. It is imagined by General Séré de Rivières after the defeat of 1870. It joins in the tradition of the French military fortification of Vauban to Maginot. Since 2001 the fort is registered on the additional inventory of Historic monuments.
