The "Maison Bleue" estate was originally constructed in 1791, a mansion set in mountainous forests in the heart of the Black Perigord in Dordogne.
With an unassuming grandeur and rustic in setting, the property still has refined modern conveniences embedded within. The grounds contain tranquil gardens and an outside pool. On the other hand, a fully engineered but environmentally sensitive tree house perched in between oaks and 6 m above the forest floor; on the other a cave like gite built in the bedrock, la Chambre Troglodyte.
The tree house seated on a 25m2 wooden platform, is suitable for two adults, and has a transparent Perspex roof. It is glamping and it is finest.
La Chambre Troglodyte is a cocoon inside the yellow ochre bedrock, with natural stone walls and wide panoramic windows and shutters that perfectly combines a prehistoric and primitive feel with modern comforts.
The grounds extend for 4 hectares and are within walking distance 500m of the river Dordogne.
2 hectares of private forest, 1 of vineyard and 1 of land field. 600 m2 of private parking. All have easy access even for trucks
