General presentation

Built in 1629 on the foundations of a medieval manor, according to a plan attributed to François Mansart (1598-1666), the Château de Daubeuf has remained inhabited until today. Located at the heart of a vast agricultural estate in the Pays de Caux, the site has been transformed over time. Acquired in 2014 by Jérémie and Guyonne Delecourt, the estate, classified as a historic monument, is currently undergoing a major restoration campaign. It opened its doors to the public for the first time in 2017. The park combines an ornamental vegetable garden, wooded areas, a forest of century-old rhododendrons, organic market gardening, orchards, a French-style garden and historical monuments.

Location History
For 400 years, the Grand Daubeuf estate remained in the hands of French noble families. Among them, the marquisate of Pomereu d'Aligre, from 1788. The estate resisted revolutionary confiscations and in the 19th century became a worldly resort for the marquises of Pomereu: it was at this time that important work in favor of structures linked to social practices (hunting).

When Jérémie and Guyonne Delecourt bought the estate in 2014, the restoration project was colossal, and involved both the building and the restructuring of the park. It is with the rebirth of the park, the reinvention of the vegetable garden and the remodeling of its main lines that the renovation begins. After three years of work carried out in collaboration with integration projects, the park will be discovered under the gaze of visitors in 2017. The restoration of the building first focused on restoring its luster to the secondary buildings: the kennel and the large stables.
