Location History
The street of the Columns is one of the rare examples of construction of the revolutionary age. Purchaser of the hotel of Verneuil in 1792, a group of speculators makes build of 1793 to 1795 by the architect Joseph Bénard and the contractor Pierre Fichet this way antiquisante conceived by the achitecte Nicolas Vestier. It is in the beginning a way deprived between the street of the Girl-Saint-Thomas and the street Feydeau, giving access to the Feydeau theatre, but closed by some 11 hour old grids of the evening at 5 hours of the morning.
Long, it 90 meters was mutilated and split by the boring of the street of the Stock Exchange in 1826 and that of Ten-December (September Four) in 1864.
