Location History
Nogent-sur-Marne is a commune in the eastern suburb of Paris, France. It is located 10.6 km (6.6 miles) from the centre of Paris, in the Val-de-Marne département.
Overlooking the Marne river, Nogent is famous for its guinguettes (popular open-air cafés). It used to be one of the holiday resorts of Parisians at the beginning of the XXth century. It is now a dynamic city with a lot of cultural structures such as the Watteau theater, the Baltard Pavillon, once one of the market halls of Paris or The Royal Palace (a movie theater) built in 1919 and listed as part of the national heritage.
