Location History
Château Le Rocher Portail, considered one of Brittany’s most beautiful edifices. Built more than 400 years ago starting in 1596 by Gilles Ruellan. Little known today, this Breton with humble origins was at the time one of France’s leading financiers, an advisor and friend to King Henri IV, Queen Marie de Medicis and Cardinal Richelieu.
