The Château de la Buzine is the famous "Château de ma Mère" ("My Mother's Castle") ; from the eponymous novel written by Marcel Pagnol published in 1957.
The Château de la Buzine is located south of Les Camoins, in the 11th arrondissement of Marseille.
Today the property of the City of Marseille has become "La Maison des Cinématographies Méditéranéennes".
The equipment of the castle is very complete with a 350 seat projection room, a permanent exhibition, a library, a bar and a restaurant.
The chateau is set in a large four hectare park surrounded by seven hills.
