Location History
This beautiful Elizabethan-style building, designed by the Bordeaux architect Louis-Michel Garros (1833-1911), was the (country) residence of Frédérick Exshaw, a wealthy merchant and exporter of cognacs and eaux-de-vie, descendant of a very old Irish family. It was then a school, and today it is the headquarters of the CFDT.
