Location History
iconic heritage of medieval military architecture of XIII, the castle of Montreuil Bonnin is a high place in the history of Poitou. Since the fairy Melusine, to whom legend attributes the construction of many illustrious personalities succeeded each other: the great William, Eleanor of Aquitaine, Richard the Lionheart, Blanche of Castile, Alfonso de Poitiers Guesclin, Francis La Noue ....
