Location History
The castle dates back to the end of the XIVth century. History has left its imprint on Colombières : as far back as 1066 the inhabitants of Colombières were companions of William the Conqueror during the Norman conquest of England. More recently, on June 8, 1944 Colombières was the U.S. Army's signal corps center which informed the world of the landing of the Allies and the liberation of France.
