Location History
The first traces of this famous brothel can be found as early as 1870, but it will know its hours of glory in the early 20s when its famous decor was created.
In the secrecy of its velvets, this brothel of the Roaring Twenties never ceased to welcome the Parisian bourgeoisie, who came to socialize within its walls where parties, girls of joy and champagne were never lacking.
It closed its doors in 1948 following the Marthe Richard law of 1946.
This unique room was listed in the supplementary inventory of buildings of France in 1996.
It is only in 2017 that this decor will be accessible to the public again following a 3-year restoration.
